Hands down the best place to eat in town. Super friendly and fresh food!
Great service. Low priced food. Good small town diner atmosphere. Some of the best pancakes in the area and they'll even occasionally make artsy designed pancakes for the kids if time allows for it.
Great little diner! No waiting & fast service. The food took a bit, but good food cooked upon order beats the heck out of anything ‘fast’. We had the chicken fry steak, huge, crispy & perfect gravy. And the calf fry dinner. Everything was fried to perfection, not to death. Hand cut fried & onion rings were some of the best I’ve had in a long time. Calf fries were tender and cooked just right. The price was right too. 2 adults dinner with leftovers for under $30. I’ve paid more at local chains for much less satisfying meals. J’s will become one of our regular night out restaurants!
Food was good. Fries amazing. Hamburgers are large and smell good. I had the chicken fried steak. It was ok. Husband had the fried baloney and he loved it.
J's is ALWAYS a wonderful place to eat! There prices are low and the home cooked meals are fabulous. We've eaten breakfast, lunch, and dinner here and never had a bad meal. Excellent place is you're cruising Rt 66 or if you just want to take a trip to a small town!
Service was great. Fries could have been fresher, they were just cool and stiff. We had ordered them with no salt or seasoning. But I'm excited to try them fresh. Because I'm pretty sure they are hand-cut. It was our first time and we didn't know what to expect. I'd recommend giving it a try.
